भारतीय मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने 6 अगस्त के लिए देश के 17 राज्यों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है। दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश, झारखंड, मध्य प्रदेश और पूर्वोत्तर के कई हिस्सों में तेज बारिश, गरज-चमक और तेज हवाओं की संभावना जताई गई है। पहाड़ी राज्यों में भूस्खलन और मैदानी इलाकों में जलभराव का खतरा बना हुआ है। मौसम विभाग ने लोगों से अनावश्यक यात्रा से बचने, नदी-नालों से दूर रहने और स्थानीय प्रशासन द्वारा जारी एडवाइजरी का पालन करने की अपील की है।
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert for 17 states on August 6. States including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and several northeastern regions are expected to witness intense rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds. Authorities have warned of possible waterlogging in urban areas and landslides in hilly regions. Residents have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from rivers and flood-prone areas, and follow official weather advisories. The active monsoon conditions are expected to continue over the next few days in several parts of the country.
